Appalachian Development Corridor V stretches from I-55 in Batesville, Mississippi east to I-24 southwest of Chattanooga, Tenn. It includes portions of existing U.S. 278 (Miss. 6), Alabama 24, Alt. U.S. 72, and U.S. 72, as well as the entire length of I-565 from I-65 northeast of Decatur to Huntsville.
