U.S. 63 between Jonesboro and Gilmore is to be upgraded to a full freeway in the next few years and will be designated as Interstate 555 when the work is complete. Approximately 2/3 of the route is already freeway; the rest is a four lane road with a mix of at-grade and grade-separated crossings. For more info, see here.   (22/25)
